Grzegorz Jakubowski has been operating martial arts for 19 years, developing and changing his styles until now. He started
with karate, then judo, thai-boxing and brasilian jiu-jitsu. Gaining experience, skills and smarts through years has
lead him to the current free-fighting style which is as well effective as spectacular. Since the year of 2000 he has
come to the MMA. At first informally but intensively he trained and spared with friends, afterwards taking part in
competition has begun. His martial arts' fighting stats are impressive, even he can not recall it precisely.
Grzegorz has fought in more than 40 fights at a tournament or championship level. For instance he twice won
the Polish Cup in full contact kung-fu, that was something like a kick boxing. His achievements in MMA (11 fights)
also make a good impression. Firstly he has won the title of 'Iron Man' in Italy, moreover, he has advanced to the
finals of 'King of Bushido' in Lithuania. Of course he is the winner of Polish Vale Tudo Cup 2003 and he is the
Germany OC 2 Champion 2004. He fights at national and international tournaments, succeeds and promotes
himself.
But to perform at such a high level Grzegorz has to prepare himself. The training program of this fighter is quite
intensive. On Monday morning there is time for running, in the evening for perfecting the techniques. Tuesday
begins with throw training and fight with use of throws, holds and locks. In the evening MMA sparrings are to
take place. Body building gym is scheduled for Wednesday morning and the technique training for the evening.
Thursday opens with thai-boxing training- so called 'shield training' to end with technique perfecting in the
evening. On Friday morning ground techniques training takes place, and again the technique improving in the
evening as well as on Saturday morning. Grzegorz obeys the proper diet and supplies his body with nutrients
and minerals regularly.
His goals are to fight as much as possible, always improve his skills and… to take part in Japanese Pride
Tournament.
One very important part of Grzegorz's sport activity is a fight club: Mighty Bulls. The Bulls are 40 fighters who
train with Grzegorz and of course under his instructions and guidance. The best of them take part with their
coach and leader in domestic and even international tournaments. Beyond the individual, the team goals of
Mighty Bulls are simple- to fight at as many high-level tournaments as possible.
