OC: Hello Shonie, thank you for reserving us your time for a short interview with us. How do you like Germany?

SC: I love Germany! A very nice country. Just a pity that I can not visit more cities before I will leave tomorrow ...

OC: How do you think about the level of MMA in Germany?

SC: It is clear visible that many things here are in phase of growing. You can hear more and more about different events. The fighters I saw during the weekend here in Mössingen just have reached a remarkable level. And some of them are on the right way to success...

OC: Ok, just tell us something about your fight against Peter Angerer.

SC: Well, I knew that Peter is a dangerous kicker, I already saw him several times in the USA and last year against the Japanese Keniti Sato. My strategy was to bring him down to the ground as soon as possible in order to urge him by submission hold to give up. Anyway I didn’t want to fight so strong in a way of "Ground and Pound" but after the second round I really was frustrated that nothing happened and then I have mainly worked with punches in the third round to achieve an early victory. It was really frustrating to see that he simply took all ... But I’m happy to be the winner.

OC: Will you come back to Germany?

SC: (smiling) Yes of course! Here are so many beautiful women! Yesterday I already have bought a language course! Of course I hope to get an invitation again for "Fists of Fury". I like to fight here in Germany.

OC: Which fights are fixed for you for the near future?

SC: Well, soon I will fight in Las Vegas at "King of the Cage" against Ronald Jhun for the World Title. Our first fight at "Superbrawl" in Hawaii was a tie and Jhun is really a hard opponent. But I doubt for no second to defeat him. I never doubt during one of my fights to be the winner afterwards... So it is with me .
